When I first moved to High Bridge in 1991 I established a "green" business called CoCo:Chenille. Based on reusing existing resources, i.e. chenille bedspreads, my products were sold across the country. Country Living Magazine featured my chenille spreads, teddy bears, pillows and more for ten years. My company was profiled in The New York Times and featured in all the major decorating magazines in the U.S. as well as a number of books. I contributed greatly to the Shabby Chic decorating movement, which has blossomed into Cottage Decor.
I still dabble a bit in chenille, making towels, washcloths and some other simple items for the Polka Dot Cafe. You'll find them stacked on our Sundries shelves.
Hope to see you soon!
